Sonoma Ranch Elementary School hosted its third annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 21st, bringing students and parents together for a day of fun and fitness. This event not only encouraged physical activity but also provided a glimpse into the district's growing running programs.
Neely Traditional Academy and Gilbert Classical Academy (GCA) have been named among the top-ranking schools in the state according to U.S. News & World Report. Neely Traditional Academy was ranked #4 among Arizona's elementary schools, while Gilbert Classical Academy ranked #4 in Arizona's middle schools.
The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has released the 2023-24 School Letter Grades. For the 2023-24 school year Gilbert Public Schools has achieved an ‘A’ letter grade for our school district. Further, all GPS schools have achieved either an ‘A’ or ‘B’ letter grade, rating them as excellent or highly performing by the Arizona Department of Education.
Technology Integration Educators (TIEs) play an important role in ensuring students receive an engaging educational experience that develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and technology skills which will serve them well throughout their academic journey and beyond.
Congratulations to Superstition Springs student Ruby, whose speech at the Rosie the Riveter National Gala was a success! There were about 350 people in attendance. You may recognize Ruby as one of the winners of last year’s Gilbert Public Schools Oratorical Contest.
